I love old Polaroid cameras. Polaroid no longer makes its classic film, but a European company resurrected it, and called it the "Impossible Project." Some say it's not as good as the original--but then again, what is?
It's a bit expensive, but so is all film. We shoot film not to save money, but for the aesthetic. There's really nothing like it. So I'd encourage you--all of you Dear Readers--to dig out an old Polaroid camera, or find one for a couple bucks at your local Goodwill or garage sale, and buy a packet of film. You'll love the results, and perhaps just as importantly, the process.
